About Us

I am  the bestselling author and co-author of over 20 books about health and fitness including books about weight loss, vitamin and mineral supplements, beauty, spirituality, swimming, belly dance, breast implants, menopause, memory loss, Indian Medicine (Ayurveda), homeopathy, psychotherapy, and more. I have also written dozens of articles and pamphlets.

Since becoming a certified personal trainer in 2003 and earning my master's degree in public health in 2006, I have coached people one-on-one and in groups about how to be fit in body, mind, and soul.

For me, my personal and professional life are intertwined. As an undergraduate art student in the go-go era, I was a TV and runway model. After a stint living in Europe, I put my art skills to work as an editor at an arts and crafts magazine. And when  I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of thirty, I turned that life-altering experience into two books--the beginning of a career dedicated to helping others live a healthier life.

I've learned that every moment in life is precious.

I refuse to waste a moment eating food I hate just because someone twells me it's "healthy,"  or doing an exercise that's boring or uncomfortable because It's supposed to be "good for me."  I believe there's no good reason I have to do any of these things--and neither should you!

This is why I created the Nancercize total fitness program, the results of years of study and experience with people of all ages and from all walks of life--from teens to seniors, boomers to new moms.  Together, you and i can get you moving toward a healthier, happier, more confident life.
